Epson R-D1
I’ve purchased an Epson R-D1 with a Voigtländer 35mm f/1.4 Nokton lens. It’s going to be extremely interesting to try it out - still waiting on the package to arrive. Ever since I had and sold my Fuji X100 I’ve been wanting to try a real rangefinder.
The downside is that it just feels slightly wrong to buy a digital camera that is as old as the R-D1. But seeing that the only other alternative is a Leica M8/M9 the R-D1 kind of becomes the only feasible option in my case.
I will definitely get back with some impressions on the R-D1 as soon as I’ve used it a few days and can see wether it was worth it and so on.
